Jose Avila's professional experience consists of working with children, adolescents, and adults for the past 16 years. Jose utilizes various treatment modalities — Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Men’s Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model, Music/Art Therapy, Person-Centered, Supportive Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. The issues addressed comprise relationship problems, parent-child problems, substance use, trauma, depression, anxiety, and intimate partner violence.
